- Profile Details: category, description, photos, years of experience, and location references.
- Contact Channels: phone numbers, WhatsApp links, and links to your social media or website.
- Billing References: transaction/receipt numbers provided manually by you. We do not process, collect, or store credit card details.
- Usage and Connection Logs: connection events, pages visited, search terms, and language selections.
3. Purpose of Processing Data
We use the personal details we collect to:
- Display and organize your business profile on our directory.
- Verify your professional details and manage your account access.
- Contact you about directory modifications, security alerts, and administrative matters.
- Perform anonymous statistical studies to improve our search features and design.

4. Cloud Infrastructure Providers
Your details are hosted and protected through secure cloud services that apply industry-standard security measures:

- Vercel: Provides web hosting and serverless infrastructure for the platform, operating under enterprise-grade security standards.
5. Retention Period
We store your profile data as long as you maintain your directory listing active. If you request the deletion of your account, your personal details will be removed or anonymized within 30 days, keeping only basic logs for tax or legal safety.

You hold complete control over your data. At any time, you have the right to request:
- Access: A copy of all personal details stored about you.
- Correction: Rectification of outdated, incomplete, or incorrect profile details.
- Erasure (Deletion): Complete deletion of your account details from our database.

Our directory is not for children under 18. We do not collect information from minors. If we find details of a minor in our system, we will delete them immediately.

Database servers are located in global cloud datacenters outside Costa Rica. By registering, you understand and accept that your information will be hosted and processed internationally. All providers used by Peninsula Connect apply industry-standard security measures — including encryption, access controls, and compliance frameworks — to protect your data during storage and transfer.
11. Platform Ownership Transfer
Peninsula Connect may transfer the ownership and operation of the platform to another individual or legal entity. In such event, this Privacy Policy shall continue to apply under the same terms, and users will be notified through the platform or by email when required by law.
